This count down app is exactly what it says it is and while you may think otherwise, that's not so common anymore. It does not bombard you with ads. It doesn't require any unnecessary permissions. the only permissions I've given is for notifications and access to certain images, the latter of which is optional. It doesn't limit how many countdowns you make and lets you use your own images for the background (hence why I have allowed the app access to some of my images).
