1000% sure what is reported as 'battery voltage' is actually the 'voltage as measured by the inverter'. The voltage drop during punch outs is massive. I love the app and have no qualms toward it. For what it is worth: My OBDLink LX would drop out, but the OBDLink MX+ worked for a 100 mile trip with no-issue. If your review mentions Bluetooth issues and you didn't try a different adapter, you are helping no one... Edited

It is read from the BMS, the inverter also reports incoming voltage (but I don't think we are showing that in the app, I used to think nobody would be interested). What you see is called 'voltage sag', but I agree it's extreme in a Tesla. So it is actually the cells that 'bow' under the load, caused by cell internal resistance.

Best app yet for Tesla and honestly worth double what they're charging. Similar to Accessport for ICE vehicles but wayy more data, highly configurable and <$100 for the kit vs a thousand+ for an Ap and gauges. The LX or MX aladpter is by far superior to Elm etc. 300+ packet rate vs ~20 on Elm. Would be nice if there was a way for the app to auto start when the phone entered Bt range, but that's an external hardware issue not the app.

Thank you for your kind words! Have you tried Tasker, I think that can be set up to "start an app when xxxx is in bluetooth range" for instance.

Using a V-Link BT OBD dongle with this & it works flawlessly with my Model S. You will have to source an adapter cable but they are on eBay. The software is comprehensive yet easy to use. All the data you need is presented in real time. Want to check each individual battery cell? No problem. Every possible parameter is available and clearly presented. Great value!

Have had this App for 4 yrs now. Love it. Fantastic for looking at Temp parameters in diff seasons, Oil conditions etc. Makes ICE parameters look SO dynosaur like. Only query is, can you change the Rpm readings, to read at the motor o/p shaft, rather than the half shaft/wheel rpm? I have to multiply in my head X 9 is all, & probably just change of code needed?! Wonderful tech. Edited

If you were thinking let's give them a ton of data that they probably have almost no other way to get, and just keep the way it is displayed pretty basic/simple, you hit the mark, and I love it!
