Honestly liking it so far. It can help you build credit and they have really nice cards + tons of promotions and features. I was surprised at how many cash back offers there are for tons of different businesses. Some of the offers are great and could save a lot of money if used the right way and when I get back on my feet financially to be able to really reap the benefits of this app more fully, I will.

The app is good if you need anything account to help build credit. However, it constantly puts me in overdraft, even though it says that it checks your balance beforehand. However, it gives you 1-hour notice that it will initiate a smart payment at 9am; Smart pay being a feature that you can not turn off, only postpone, even if you have direct deposit set up. If that feature were to be removed, at least for those with DD, this would easily be a 4 or even 5-star finance app.

Everything works as predicted for a few days then out of nowhere it says your account is no longer linked to the primary bank account given. This is where it gets weird. They give you a prompt to "fix your connection". They even say they'll offer some sweepstakes perk if you resolve the problem they created. Anyhow, I re-entered my correct bank information multiple times with no positive result. Then customer service asks for a screen shot of the error. NOT BBB rated. reporting fraud to my bank.

Atlas advertises itself as a way for people to build credit who currently have bad credit. Everything looks good on paper. My personal experience with them has taught me they are just looking to take advantage of people who have few options. No actual people to talk to only AI,and if you have fraud on your account, they are no help! Do not take a chance on having a fraudulent charge go through because even when the charge is listed as PR*ESQN* & Chinese characters they will insist you pay! Edited

After a health crisis, I was unable to pay any of my credit cards. I was fine not have credit cards to use until I went to rent a car. It was a disaster. When Atlas came up on my FB feed, I researched them and took a chance. It is an amazing product so far. It is kind of a hybrid product. You can deposit money into a deposit account that is instantly available on your credit card. It pays off your credit card from the deposit account. Great product!
