this app is peak, I have found nothing else that works this well for reading ebooks out loud to me. Best money I ever spent some things I'd love to see implemented are - better search functionality for browsing my files--it's not very reliable right now - ability to set pronunciation for certain words in a personal dictionary (for things like character names that consistently get mispronounced) - ability to automatically organize different versions of the same file (if they have the same name)

Note: fixed!!!!! My joy is back!!!! 😄 It used to give me a notification like option that let me move forward a page when listening to things being read, but it is no longer popping up. Overall, it would be nice to have the option to skip half a page instead of having to make the words large to do so. It occasionally will not move forward a page when it is reading out documents or epubs and the "replacements" in the read aloud will act up. In the end, this is my absolute favorite app either way! I used the free version (tts reader) for six months, then purchased the pro version. The only difference is that the pro version doesn't have ads. But the ads in the free version were inobtrusive. I use the app for proofreading, and I run it for long sessions. The program will go completely dark, and there doesn't seem to be any logical fix. I just try various things, and it does come back, but it's annoying. Edited

This is the most fully featured ebook reader I've found! Lets you use word "replacements" for tts that aren't shown on text, to correct pronunciations. Also lets you correct words visibly. TTS is the best I've seen, though it doesn't have its own voices (samsung sounds more natural than google), and I wish it could use the speechify AI ones. Bookmark sync is great, allowing me to read on my kindle and phone and keep my place. I have it hooked up to my Calibre Library and it syncs metadata well. Edited

I've shuffled through what I believe are the Big Three with Reader apps (Moonreader, Readera, and this one Librera). I've bought the pro version of all three as well. I think I might like this one best and more so than Moonreader. I'd have given it 5 stars if it had the page turn sounds like Moonreader does. It's not a big thing, but the sound is still a nice treat when turning those digital pages.
