I like this app, it's perfectly adequate for logging goes, the reason it is only 3 stars is because its data analysis is lacking. The "average" fuel efficiency shown is terrible because they present the midrange (min+max)/2, a useless metric that tells you nothing of substance. What you need is the mean fuel consumption, adding up all the mpg ratings and dividing them by the total number. In fact, this is an issue with basically all the data they present.

I used Fuelly on iOS, then I switched to Android and settled on Fuelio. I mostly like the app and am thankful for the free version without ads! My only complaint is that if I miss a fill up, then I have to wait for 2 more fill-ups to get a MPG calculation, when there is no reason it shouldn't work after just 1 more fill-up. The 2nd fill-up entry says, first full after missed, which is incorrect, the previous fill-up was the first full after missed.

No automatic full local backup. The only automated options for a full backup are to use Google drive or Dropbox. Allowing the user to schedule a full local back on a daily basis would be game changing, as I could automate the process of backing up my fuelio data to my NAS. I don't want to have to bother with external services. It's a feature that Signal and Tasker have. Let me take control of my own data. I'm creating this review, as I was unable to find any contact information elsewhere. Edited

This is an excellent way to keep track of your vehicle experiences. Whether it be fuel, maintenance, service, or parts. As long as you enter them in, you can see everything. From fuel efficiency to the cost per mile on a trip and the general cost of maintaining your vehicle, it is an intuitive app that keeps track of multiple things all in one place.

it's essentially a more detailed version of gas buddy, without the discounts & you have to manually submit each trip & fillup. essentially, it's a really cool idea, but the execution has a lot of flaws. you can't add missing gas stations, update prices, and there's no way to automatically track fillups.
