Honestly, a very good and very fun game. My gripe? I got to the prem league, got top 3 twice, and next year I was 6th - 5 of my top players immediately left my team refusing contracts because they "want to be in a top 5 team" - which made me drop down to 9th the next season, and 3 more players left because my team wasn't good enough. And at that point my stadium size and training grounds were upgraded all the way which made me go bankrupt... One unlucky season ruined hours of building a team. Edited

This is the best sim out there. Every now and then I can burn myself out on it, but unlike other games I can always come back to this one! I wouldn't mind a few more challenges but this game keeps me hooked for weeks at a time! (One update request, would be to see on the players info page their year by year overall rating. That way we can track as the chairman which players are getting better more consistently and who's not) Edited

addictive but pay to win. lower leagues are a breeze. turning a nice profit. once you get I to the bigger leagues, running at a profit is impossible. stadium costs far outweigh income, even with a sold out stadium which is ridiculous. you have to buy cash investment or you won't succeed. shame as it's a pretty good time killer. I do think a way to help this would be to add parachute payments if relegated from the premier league..it's that relegation that kills you. Edited

Been playing for months. Never so much as sniffed a European place despite regularly making the knockout rounds in the previous edition of the game. I agree with other reviews, the creators have clearly turned this into a profit generator only. You can spend days building a side from the 7th division but if you don't spend real money (and more of it than the previous edition) you'll never sustain top flight status, let alone qualify for Europe.

As much as I like this game, it's an overcorrection. Previous version was too easy to win titles. Now, if your team jumps out to any big lead by week 37, your team will go on an inexplicable losing streak. Sometimes you'll hold on to win. Sometimes not. I've blown 11 and 8 point leads with 5 games left with no injuries or anything other than random luck
