Good fun... To start... I don't quite get all the reviews saying that they can't work out how to play it - I didn't watch the tutorial and still got to grips easy enough. Give them bottles to rehearse and write, plus good equipment and recording studios, and they'll make top albums. At first money is tight (speak to any new band and they'll tell you that's true), and you may need to watch promo videos, but what's the harm in that?! Only downside is repetitive after you reach world tour level...

It's not bad, it's a decent time waster. Something fun for metal heads like me. There are a few problems though. Early game is fun and challenging, but a bit too challenging to where the only way to win is to either spend $ or watch every add possible. After you do a few albums it gets really repetitive and boring trying to climb the ranks of sales. More band genres would be a good addition besides rock pop and indie only. I'm not saying to add tons of subgenres but more than three would be nice Edited

I've been playing this game over 4 years, having to install and uninstall whenever I would get angry at the game. I understand in the beginning it's very tough to survive without a record label. Here's my tips: "choose the worst kind of hotel, food, etc... In your first level and as you progress chose gradually better hotels, instruments, studios, etc... That won't affect that much your weekly expenses. If you get a record deal, after that its pretty easy to continue to do the same thing...

I like the game and honestly the adverts to earn extra money is basically the same strategy that most "free" games have so that shouldn't surprise anyone who downloads it. I like the game a lot, however it has become boring pretty fast. There should be more options, more consequences and the bottle system is a little unrealistic. I think if game play is updated I will re-download it.

The game is good just repetitive. After you get a record deal it's all the same. Practice, write, record, make video, and tour. The difficulty is only added in by the fact song writing needs bottles which costs money. Which is a crappy way to add difficulty. I wish you could change ticket prices and stuff like that. You should add more character designs and different number of band members. I enjoy the game but always uninstall when it gets boring.
