The latest update appears to have removed the option to display my stored US RNC charts. As the ENCs don't show inland waterways (like the S Gulf Cove entrance to the lock and route to the four boatyards near Placida, FL), I'm forced to transition back to Navionics. I wish the Android version had at least the same capability as the Windows version, as I'm not going to keep a laptop in the cockpit. Additionally, the celestial nav tool won't run in Android.

This is a good app that I have been using for while. It is generally stable. Support is a bit tricky, the support forum doesn't appear to have been updated for years. I was unsuccessful registering and getting activation emails. The Android version needs the ability to delete chart files. You can't do this through the Android file browser anymore unless your device is rooted. I downloaded unneeded MBtiles and can't delete them. They are large. Only option appears to be uninstalling.

Great value. My previous chart plotter app is no longer available on Google Play. When I got a new phone I needed to find a new app. I am really happy with OpenCPN. For $10 you can can get an app with all the updated charts you want, for free. I also like the idea that I can build something with the same user interface using free, open source software and a Raspberry Pi when I want a more permanent installation. Edited

Alas,.why is it so hard to get the appropriate charts? This app clearly has great functionality, and I desperately want it to work for me. But I've spent hours trying to get the correct ENCs or raster charts to download and show properly (uncluttered labeling, objects stay visible with zooming in and out) on my Android 10. How in the world to make this functional? I tried to register for the user forum but the confirmation email never came. Edited

New to sailing and chart plotting, but I've been pleased so far. On a race last night, I navigated and tracked our sail while another on board with Navionics ended up with an incomplete tracking log (iOS issue with app sleeping it seems). I'll update review as I use more features. Oh, and I was able to export GPX of the sail for importing into SailTies. Overall the app seems clunky in places but powerful.
