I have been a subscriber for many years. I find the app extremely useful. Especially when traveling I use the reciprocity map to plan my trips. I just renewed my carry license and compared the reciprocity map on the app with the official state website, and found a discrepancy between what the app indicates and the state website indicates. It's still a good app, but take a few minutes to verify the info, especially when it comes to reciprocity.

Why am I all the sudden having to pay a yearly subscription when I paid for a lifetime years ago. All the sudden it says my subscription expired. Really enjoy the app and definitely worth the $.99 a year, but I would think you would honor the lifetime subscriptions from the people that subscribed back when that was the option. From seeing the reviews there are others that think this is bad business! Still giving a 5 star because I do like the app and the work put in to keep it up to date.

This app has all you need to know in every state! Although the Gun Vault has crashed on me twice losing everything. I had backup files both times, but it failed to restore. I had to manually enter everything a second time taking over an hour. The Gun Vault is useless until they fix what ever is crashing the app. I have message twice with no response ? Edited

Very easy to use, I have used for at least 6 years. When originally purchased there was no subscription fee. I have no problem with a token subscription fee. Concealed carry laws are complex and constantly changing. And the app does a very good job of updating. I have four states weapons permits. I have a high degree of confidence that this app accurately informs me of my legal status.

We are full time RVers and have been traveling the country for 3 years. Our legal residence is SD. Our resident CCW is SD and have non-resident permits from Utah and Florida. Our permit states are programmed into the app and we know at a glance where we can legally carry or not. We use this app constantly as we wander from one state to another. Can't imagine being without it. It is simple and quick to operate and the info is constantly updating as state reg's change. The only reg's not provided are from Indian Reservations, which we crisscross all the time in western states. In those situations, we unload and lockup the guns still we're off the reservation. It's not worth taking a chance. You won't be disappointed with this app.
