I have been using this for years. was an incredible app. Uninstalling today because the ads have gone to level 10. That, and new privacy clause where I had to deselect 100 vendors because there is no "deny all" button, all so the app can't sell my information. Avoid at all costs.

I've had the app, but haven't needed it yet. And yet, it deserves 10 stars. Here's why: A week ago some users reported a problem downloading specific videos. Since that time they have communicated every 2-3 days about the problem, when they found the problem, when they had a fix, and when they were waiting on Google to make the download available. No other app developer has gone this far to please his users. I even purchased the ad-free version immediately, they deserved it 100%!

Other than having frequent annoying ads, the app works well, I just wish there was a way to source the original links to the videos I save or download if that's what you'd like to call it. Downloads are fast, I get to move them wherever I want, edit, and send funny videos to other people and if their too long to send for some apps just cut the video down and send in chunks depending on what app your sending a long video through. I do wish navigation was just a little bit better when u open it😁

Viddit does its job admirably, quickly and quietly. They chose a very straightforward way to get video downloads by using the "share" function, which works independently of the Reddit settings for each forum. Couldn't be easier and quicker. The reason I'm writing this review now is that Reddit changed something in its export string format that caused a problem for Viddit and the devs sent a notification that they're already working on a fix just a few hours later. Actually pretty easy to use, you paste the reddit link in and hit download and your done. There is a weird bug where it fails to download but it fixes itself if you relaunch the app. They sent me a notification saying they are experiencing issues with sound downloading and they are aware of it and are working on it. I would keep this app. Its a little annoying with ads but you can block the full screen cover ads with a vpn
