I really love this game, but it has a serious fault. The good thing is that it can be fixed easily. You have to sit through every boss cutscene, every time. It gets frustrating when they are killing you a lot. [EDIT] I had no idea you could use the menu to start at the beginning of a level! That was an oversight on my part. The devs already said they are adding a way to skip the cutscenes in the next update. Fast response. Definitely try this game! Edited

Hey Arthur! Thanks a lot for your review :D About the first issue, you can actually travel to any level you have already played, go to the pause menu, select travel, the world you want to enter and then the level you want to go. Definitely farming will help a lot to defeat some hard bosses. About the cutscene, that will be removed in next update :)

I'm not even half way through, but I like it. Mad props for having controller support! Steelseries stratus duo works great with it. If a boss seems too hard, a little grinding for upgrades (and practice) can help. Difficulty increase seems about right as more complex maneuvers are required as your skill increases. The quick auto restart level at death is nice and frustration less.

From what I've played so far in this game, it's very fun. The game controls are very responsive. The game runs very smooth and the music is great. The only gripe that I have is the short kind of "blip" sound when pressing buttons A and B. I wish there was a way to remove that particular sound completely. Also, there is clearly no exit to home button. Other than that, this game is another one of those gems that every retro player should look into. Well worth the small price the dev is asking.👍🏻 Edited

Gotta give it up, this is a great game. Controls much better than you'd expect; a rare encounter for an Android side scroller. It's challenging, even on easy mode. Perhaps a bit too challenging. All in all, I'm quite impressed. Glad I downloaded this. Thanks Dev! Only one thing I'm wondering... Do you have to force close in order to leave the game? Would much prefer something like 'Save & Quit' over a force close. Thanks again.

Pixel art and level design are only okay. Coin drops from enemies and chests take waaay too long and the structure of the market is annoying and needlessly time consuming. Upgrades are bland and unsatisfying. Story and translation are barely decent, if not very cliche and cheesy, but at least there was some semblance of effort put into here for the story and worldbuilding. Boss fights are decent. Controls are actually pretty good but the menu system and font are bad. This is simply a meh game.
