Scaling is a major issue. Enemies can easily one-hit my units, and even when I can spawn 10-15 units against 5 of theirs, I lose. This is a grinding game at its core. Fun at first, but with enemies dealing insane damage vs. my measly attacks as you get to higher levels, you repeat the level over and over. It really was fun at first but I'm already installing since playing a level 3 times or more no matter what I do isn't fun anymore.

straightforward gameplay, you unlock units and gears as you progress. unlike other voodoo games you aren't pelted with ads every 10seconds; though some gears will be "free with ads", you aren't forced to watch them. there are audio sliders for bgm and sfx, so you can listen to something else while playing. fun game.

A great offline game to kill some time. The rewards could be higher if you complete waves without losing a heart. There's nothing to state what new cogs do without trying them, but I guess experimenting is partly fun. Having had the game about 2 weeks and played more than I should, I've not spent any money at all, but have now hit a bug that freezes the game at the exact same spot each time. Hopefully it'll get fixed soon, so I can keep playing.

truth be told, it's a really fun and innovative game. for a while. ive made it 5 levels in, had so much fun, but have reached a huge wall. not really a paywall unless I want different troops, then it's a paywall. it's more a wall of no other reason to play. I cant tell how many levels there are, any advancement at this point is repetitive and minor. all of my troops are completely evolved. so now there's not really replay value. was fun until that point.

attractive & polished game, marred by low difficulty curve and repetitive gameplay. Some strategic elements but pretty minimal. I appreciate that it's not necessary to watch ads or spend money to advance, but it ultimately gets boring fast. how placing gears affects spawn time isn't clear, but since you can simply swap gears around until you find the optimal position, it really doesn't matter.
