The game is a lot of fun, there's a lot to do and everything is well balanced for the most part; the intrusive ads however, are NOT great. It gets rather tedious after you watch an ad to double your reward then have 5 seconds of gameplay before you're forced to watch yet another ad; then shortly after that you get one hour away from camp and get.. that's right, ANOTHER ad. There's already ads all throughout the game, I'm not sure why the pop up ones are so aggressive.

First off, love the game!! I had been looking for it for a week before I found it. Secondly, I think it's pretty fun to play but I did come to a one issue I wish could be fixed. The issue I had was it crashes a lot. So far nothing else from past reviews have happened to me except this. I'll just be playing my game then it randomly takes me out of it to my home screen. I hope this gets fixed soon because this is one of my favorite games to play. Update: Its fixed and I've never been happier!! Edited

absolutely love this little game, it's got enough RNG to satisfy my survival fun, but having some serious issues when starting a new save. All the old inventory in either your other save or previous save stays at the camp, even though the limits reset, so you are overencumbered and have to sell it all off, so it feels like cheating. Only workaround I can find is fully exciting the game, hitting check saves and choosing local only to register the deleted files, but that doesn't always work. Edited

It used to be so much better years ago, I had to come back for nostalgia. Last time I played there were no ads at all, so imagine my surprise when I was met with ads every five minutes, and I'm being generous. I have to turn off my Wi-Fi, and even then they still force their way through sometimes. Not to mention how buggy it is all of a sudden? the van doesn't work, my pet disappears sometimes, and the UI text will randomly turn into weird jumbled gibberish unless I restart the entire game.

Apologies but weve had to take measures in how we can earn revenue so we can keep development alive :(. At some point in the future we may just turn off the ads. The van though? Its been working fine through testing. Could you explain more in an email or discord? The UI text is a unity text mesh pro issue which is an ongoing issue :/

I come back to this game every so often, and it seems recently there have been changes, i would say for the better. One suggestion that would be nice to have is an equipment spot, so that you dont have to select the gear your bringing every time you leave your camp. The gameplay is simple enough but challenging, maybe a few more cosmetics like different dog colors, or clothing colors, but the game is still great regardless. Great to see it getting updates!
