rizline has a GREAT selection of music. Unfortunately, there's a LOT that's confusing about this game. The detection of taps is VERY loose, like it aligns hold notes to the wrong finger thats on the other side of the screen and drops inputs frequently. The UI has some weird cooldown immediately after a song so it's unresponsive for a good 5 seconds, something I think could be whittled out. Some songs can't be previewed? You can't unlock songs out of order? Why not? Edited

Play phigros before this. This game is good, I love the chart design, but how the actual game is played bothers me. You don't have to click the notes, you just have to click somewhere on the screen as it hits the judgement line for it to count as a hit. Small gripe, but i find it annoying. Also I cannot play the game if I have anything plugged into the USB port, which is strange.

PigeonGames did it again. The maps are gorgeous and such a treat to look at. It also only takes a dollar to unlock 30 songs, which I appreciate. The UI is a little unintuitive and I feel like the mapping could be better but I'm sure that both of them will improve. Even though I have a big phone and my hands are small, the portrait mode gameplay still makes it a little hard to play at times. Overall, I'm looking forward to seeing how the game develops. Edited

Clean aesthetic, responsive inputs, adjustable synch settings, the works. I'd say this is one of the more accessible rhythm games, though it definitely does not lack in difficulty. Its gimmick is not even having to touch notes, just tap when a note hits your judgment line (or judgement circles in this case). The only thing I really don't like is having to unlock somgs one by one at a painfully slow rate. It gets a bit boring, but the gameplay's pretty fun and the selection of artists is solid.

So far I'm really enjoying this game, but I think it would be beneficial to include some tutorials/instructions to explain the UI options and gameplay/unlock system. E.g. IN difficulty was unlocking per song after doing well enough in HD for the same song. After some time, IN for all songs unlocked and I dont know what triggered it. Bigger issue is a few songs have dark notes on a dark background and it is very hard to see and play properly. A feature to select plain backgrounds would be nice. Edited
