This app doesn't stay active in the background and keep my location updated anymore. It used to. I'm a commercial truck driver and rely on that feature to keep me updated on local weather conditions. I have the data unrestricted, as well as the battery optimization setting. It is unrestricted as well. So therefore I don't understand why it doesn't stay updated. The location will be stuck on a previous location and I have to force it to manually update.

I hate rating apps, but the latest update broke it-constant crashes on all my Android devices and major battery drain. Please fix. Update 2016: Still not fixed, and useful features are missing. --- Update 6/25/2025: Had this app for years; couldn't imagine having a phone without it. But since 2023, I've stopped relying on it. Accuracy, alerts, and features declined badly. Ads got worse too. It's no longer reliable. There are better options now.

I used to love this app and I only use the free version. Unfortunately, in my area, the accuracy of the weather is terrible. I gave 3 stars instead of 1 because I truly believe it isn't the app having issues but more likely the meteorology and the science has gotten worse all around. Even our local stations are so terrible are predicting the weather here that most people don't check it anymore. I don't know what has gone on in that field the last 3-5 years but you can't count on it anymore.

it's okay I guess. the Forcast constantly changes only a couple days out. other apps are more accurate. plus, in the past I paid for no ads twice and both times when I switch to a new phone I have to pay for premium again. this app isn't accurate enough or worth a monthly subscription to not get ads again.

6/22/25 UPDATE: Slow, glitchy, shuts down before it opens. I'm not alone with these issues and it's not my phone. Ads take forever to load which is garbage when I need it in tornado country. Garbage. I'm using Weatherwise free and I'd like to use this as well. Do better, you now have excellent competition. Edited
