It's fun but only up to a certain point. Got to learn the moves for Rook, Bishop, and Queen. Anything further and you have to agree to pay. It almost immediately grinds gameplay to a halt. This is worse than games like candy crush. CC will allow you to play the game while offering the pay option for more time or more boosts to help you complete game boards. You can still play CC without these things. Chess for kids teaches 3 lessons via short really fun games and then stops.

great for getting kids interested BUT even with the same email and account, I had to buy another premium to get the accounts linked. seems like a bug. anything you can do for me?

The app was recommended by our chess coach as a supplemental homework. So far so good, my 5 year-old really likes it, helped her improve the basics. One has to bear in mind that children should not play alone, they have to be helped otherwise they just press the buttons until get the result without really understanding why. Edited
