I love everything that I have been able to find, and I am grateful for the access. However, given the monthly price (around $42 after tax) and the fact that its 2025 and tech is so advanced it can emmulate a human mind, I am often flabbergasted at just how inconsistent the app experience is. (Edit) The App needs less focus on "aesthetic" and more focus on technical function. One problem is fixed to be replaced with another. I get you want to keep people employed, but figure it out. I used to love this app now its full of bugs. You used to be able to see the tree expand when you clicked on a person's profile, now I keep getting an error. You can no longer see what percentage of YOU came from each parent (was free now it's pay for). It doesn't feel as easy to use anymore when looking up potential ancestors. It feels too jumbled. Previous versions of this app were much better.

very unintuitive. hard to navigate, so difficult to add siblings! all of the auto adds default to parents. very frustrating. also difficult /confusing to mark adoptive branches and relationships. it is unintuitive to decipher adoptive vs adopted relationships. once I confirmed our known family (adopted) it seems to have deleted my mom's biological relationships I'd added. difficult/impossible to add info/people's profiles from existing listings Edited

Ever since the recent update, I have had no access to Newspapers through the app, which is EXTREMELY frustrating since I'm paying monthly for both Ancestry & Newspapers. Apparently, I'm not the only one having this issue, and this is a huge issue that should be resolved right away. I can see a lot of people canceling their subscriptions due to this problem, including myself. Newspapers is very beneficial to finding out more with your family tree. It's helped me tremendously! Please fix this 🙏

The online version is so much better. When you sign in, your tree is downloaded, but after this it is useless as any new records you find and add to your tree, the tree doesn't update. If you add more people then these are not displayed. You have to clear the cache and sign back in for it to update, is it only me having this issue?
