I used this app for years. It used to be a decent way to keep up with local news, weather, and sports, interspersed with an acceptable number of not-too-intrusive ads. Lately, in addition to the ads, it pushes more and more frequently to pay for a subscription until you can't ever get beyond the new pay wall to see a single article. I deleted the app. The newspaper's sales/marketing management has become so obnoxious I am unsubscribing from the delivered hardcopy version too, after 30 years. Edited

Crashes quite a bit, when you click on pictures it brings you to random other pictures needs work update: No i do not want a subscription for an app that doesnt load full articles, constantly crashes, and in general just doesnt work. you have had the same problems for over a year, and now ask to subscribe every few articles. uninstall. used go be my go to for finding what was going on in my hometown since I moved away 11 yrs ago but now you cant read anything without a subscription being offered. it's too bad. website is the same way which is unfortunate cause there used to be some good content. restuarant reviews. theater reviews. retail info I liked to read but now the app is getting deleted and replaced with somethin else. dont ask people to pay for something they shouldn't have to

UPDATE: Tried your subscription but surprisingly, the articles still have misspellings, improper grammar, glaring inaccuracies and poor formatting. I expect MUCH MORE for $9.99/mo. Just because you are the best of what's around doesn't mean you can charge people high prices and return them garbage. Pathetic they demand you subscribe to utilize the app; and they have ads anyway!! These "journalists" are trying to double-dip with subscribers and advertisers.

I pay for the Sunday paper and get access to this application included. Since last weekend the text is all one big black mass. I cannot read a single word. Nowhere on the app is there support or FAQ's. I do not have this problem with any other app or website.
