Update: you absolutely did add some information wow! Lots of it! I'm blown away! I love it. I am not a geologist but I love rocks and learning about them is sometimes hard because they are hard to identify from a flat book, but this takes it to a whole new level! You even have an option to look 3-D! Descriptions, information, locations! Love it Edited

I've tried several different apps to help id the thousands of rocks my brother had. With very little success. This app is amazing. I've learned more from this app then those ones that scan ur rock and tell u what it is. Most of the time there way off. I've only tried the free version on this app. I think it will be worth paying for the pro!!! Best app so far!! Thank you .

This is not very accurate. It's nice that they give you several options because I understand that some rocks can be deceiving. But I tried it with very recognizable rocks and it wasn't even listed as an option. For you to pay for a subscription it just seems like the identifying ai would be a little more advanced.

Dear Christine, the database is growing constantly. Keep in mind that the minerals and rocks are truly 3D. So the process and the development are not so easy.
The subscription (no ads) is your choice. Of course, you already helped a lot in giving such positive feedback.
Currently, I'm working on an algorithm to easily identify rocks and minerals.

Perfect App for Rockhounds of any age! It would have been so cool to have this as a kid. Still, here I'm going through my old rock collection trying to ID everything 30 years later. Very user friendly, could be used by kids for fun or adults with more gemological experience. Awesome 3D rotations, informative descriptions, and a huge search database. Stones may look very similar; but the detail, info and models here makes identification much easier! Love this app, thank you to the creators

I loved it when I first used it. But 2 hours later I opened it back up, and it opened to the search and there was no way to get to the main page. I closed and opened several times and even restarted my phone. Very disappointed.
