new update forces AI upon the user, with no ability to opt out. player screen now has a button to "ask a question" centered on the screen. I do not want this. I do not want to accidentally hit it while trying to pause and waste energy by doing so. please give the user the option to opt out of this. also, a recent update took away the 5 and 10 minute timer options, which were useful. since that update, the "chapter end" option has proven inconsistent. it often keeps playing.

Fix the damn app so it will keep playing whatever I'm listening to WITHOUT STOPPING until I hit pause, PLEASE!! I go back into the app on my screen, which I shouldn't have to do in the first place, and not only has the playback stopped, but the book I was listening to isn't even loaded in the player anymore. Navigating through all this takes like a minute on this phone. By a fair estimate you are collecting over $4B annually from your subscribers; why can't you make this app work right? Edited

it's fantastic when it works. unfortunately it hasn't been able to load in the last 24 hours. not the first time this has happened but it is the longest. All my books are downloaded so I'm not even sure why the app needs to buffer/connect to the internet. But playback will sometimes randomly stop or skip forward/backwards. It's few and far between but it gets annoying as it's been a consistent issue for a few years. Edited

Have had the app for years, LOVE it! Ever since the most recent android update though, it will randomly start playing, and it won't stop when I hit pause. I end up needing to force stop the app to get it to stop playing. Assuming it's a bug with the new android update. Beyond that, great app.

They still won't fix the app randomly playing by itself. Force stopping the app doesn't even work. It will start itself up just to play the audio book I'm listening to when I pit my earbuds away. This is a very simple fix, do not let it start up by itself, but there are no options to stop it from auto-starting. Edited
