For everyone, who knows that the KP index is not the only value important for strong auroras, this is a great app. And also for everyone, who does not want to understand the science and just wants a simple traffic light system to know how good the chances are. Every "button" shows an element of seeing auroras (from cloud coverage to KP index) and turns lime or green, if that value/aspect is good right now. Such an intuitive system. You can decide to use GPS or set a location manually (in Norway)

Thank you so much for your review! I’m so happy the app works well for both those who love the Science and those who just want a simple way to track Auroras. I put a lot of care into trying making the system intuitive and flexible, and your feedback makes it all worthwhile. Again thank you, -- Sergiu

Hard UX. Some cards are clickable, some not—always a lottery will you guess and it will flip. No explanations for terms (e.g. solar wind density and why it's impacting). I like that each feature has color indication, but it's too crowded with colors. Also would be nice to combine all these states and show one card "chance to see aurora in ***" (combine kp, clouds, etc). And would be nice fo have linear map. In general — need some UX work and testing with novice/expert users 🙂

Your public review, without even trying to understand that I'm the sole developer behind this *free* app, is disheartening and even shocking. Really nothing works? My app is not an Aurora course; courses exist for that. I would appreciate more humanity and moderation in your public comments about my hard work, --Sergiu

I've been using a few different apps and tools over the last couple years to help me better select opportunities for viewing and taking photos. Very few apps actually do what they advertise and even fewer, do it well. This app has so far met the challenge and become a intrigul tool in my arsenal.

I really like this app. It seems that it is still in beta or there is a bug that keeps detecting that the sun has not set in my true location. Because of this I cannot report if I have or have not seen aurora. In fact nobody can as there are no reports at all. Of course this doesn't stop me from using the other data to determine my chances or successfully seeing aurora in my location. It would be nice if this function worked so that myself and others can see if there are Yes or No reports.

It's been generally accurate when predicting Aurora's, but the time and cloud coverage is WAY off. Most of the time it states that the sun will set at 4am where I live and so I'm not able to report sightings accurately.

The issue you mention was a subtle DST bug affecting certain locations, fully fixed since long. I can’t catch all bugs on my own and I really appreciate being contacted privately rather than seeing my hard work negatively rated, publicly and permanently, due to something I can't even see. I’d be grateful if you could reconsider your review --Sergiu
