An okay game that's easy to pick up and play. There's a limited number of swords and trails and they're all just purely aesthetic, not to mention that you need to watch an ad (even after buying the ad free version) to unlock them. The slow motion mechanic when approaching an enemy is gone which makes levels frustrating now. To be honest, with the slow motion gone, I'm probably going to install it soon as the fun just isn't there anymore.

This game is so fun! I have reached over level 100 and it is so addictive! However, it does get boring after awhile and I think it needs an update. The entire game is just a never ending process of the same thing, in a good way but boring. Maybe you could add stronger opponents and maybe cool battle music or ancient Japanese music. You could also add a cooler sky box to make it feel not as bland, and the levels NEED to be longer. If an enemy strikes you with their sword, you could add blocking.

I had this game downloaded a long time ago, I recently reinstalled it and was kinda disappointed that you can't chop people in to one million pieces anymore. Also I'm not sure if this was in the game before because I can't remember: there should be something at the end of a level. Like maybe the character pulls out a bow and you can like shoot balloons to get more coins or something. If those were added (or added back) the game would easily be 5 stars. Edited

Now I can be confident giving this game a 5 star rating. The gameplay is wonderful. Very easy to understand. Very easy to play. There are no frustrations trying to learn some difficulties. As there are no difficulties. It's just nice simple and enjoyable. And the graphics are really nice too. Customer support is very responsive and professional at ensuring the game stays error free. This plays exactly as advertised. However, you don't need to slash at the enemies at all, just having your sword in front of you is enough to win many levels. I've paid for the ad free version, but from what I could tell, you still have to watch ads to unlock new sword skins. A pleasant way to pass the time, but with no music, skill required, or soul to the game, it just feels empty.
