You lose all of your progress if you have to reinstall. I had fun for a few hours and completed the first story. I think the game is decent but the second story felt too dumb and Im tired of the constant restarting. The areas you are put into are way too small with way too many obstacles and enemies. Im sure it would be easier with a controller but I dont have one. The level where you are just firing in the dark at random kinda killed it for me. Edited

Boy this is really well done. Played a couple hours and completed about a chapter and a half. Only gripe is font is just barely readable for me but I'm on a phone and hafta use the ol bifocals to play lol. Used the xbox controller and worked great but you do have to use touch if you wanna sort your inventory. Couldn't figure out how to do that with controller. Definitely gonna buy this on the pc or xbox(maybe both). Great little game that captures Lovecraft with maybe a dash of resident evil too

I loved the atmosphere from the moment I got inside the mansion. Haunted even. I didn't mind the occasional forcing my character to the right if I moved just a hair too far left, even though it made the combat more challenging than it needed to be. I liked that this game was challenging. But, when I beat the boss and entered what was supposed to be a safe room to look at the stuff you found, just to die to a sanity interactable, I was less than happy. There are some laws you don't break.

The game has a lot of potentials to be fun, but the touch controls are not intuitive at all, and It lacks proper gamepad support, which is odd because it detects the controller is connected but won't let me interact at all. If this had maybe 30% more polish, it would be a fantastic game to have mobile, but in its current state, it's just not worth the hassle. If the game does get patched to fix controller support issues, I will update this review to reflect this. Edited

This is a must try. My only real complaint is that there are environmental dangers that are significantly harder with virtual joysticks. You'll notice this in the first map. You can run away from pursuing enemies and come up to a puddle of acid that leaves mobile players at a disadvantage. If you hit the edge of your phone and can't go down, you run into acid. Adjust your finger placement and the enemy catches you. It doesn't ruin the game, but it is harder than on console. Controller is ideal.
