When it works, it's great. Like others have stated, if you leave the house or even spend time too far from the TV, it doesn't auto connect to the tv when you come back. That would be ok, but it doesn't even find the TV when you search for it to reconnect. I've had to uninstall and reinstall the whole application just to reconnect to the TV again. Which is unacceptable. I spent money on the subscription too, but at least this problem was found before the 3 day trial period.

Don't bother, you get an ad for every single button you push & it's not something you can close out quickly, have to wait. Imagine waiting between changing the volume & changing the channel. Fortunately, I found a Samsumg app that works well without ads. Samsung remotes are garbage. I don't usually leave reviews but these are the most intrusive ads, the tradeoff isn't worth it. Price isn't worth it. They ask for reviews outside of the playstore so I'm pretty sure they a harvesting emails/data.

just installed 06/14/25 already better then I ever expected it to be 10 out of 10. update used it a few times, ads are starting to seem outrageous so definitely went down 2 stars for the frequency and having to physically close the app cause of ads. there's a difference between having a free remote with ads and bombarding someone into buying the paid version. its a great app and all, i understand you need ads in order to keep the app doing what its doing, but can you fix it so its like every 15 buttons pressed there's an add instead of every 10? I have a fire stick and it's annoying to finally reach a app and it's an 15 second add. I have full understanding if you can't, I still love the app

I installed this to test and see if I wanted to purchase it. It is unusable as there is an ad that is always on and it takes up the whole bottom third of the screen, and there is no way to close it. I assume it is obscuring some of the remote functionality, and I also assume it is hiding the list of smart devices in my home. Not gonna waste my time with this.
