I've been using this app for almost a week and can guarantee with evidence that every female account on here within a very few exceptions are catfishers. they are using photos that are not theirs, it's easy to search the Internet for matching photos now with google search so I have verified every contact I lve had has been catfishers. this app is useless and a waste of time and money.

I paid and used this app for 3 months while in Japan. Honestly, maybe this app used to be popular. Now not so much. Most profiles are abandoned with pictures from 2 or 3 years ago on them. I liked and messaged most women around Osaka & Kyoto/Kansai area. Most of them didn't respond. They probably didn't want to speak in English or were not interested in taking to a "foreigner/traveller." Maybe if you're a Japanese Language Speaker with Japanese writing skills. Even so, wouldn't get my hopes up.

So far, not a whole lot is happening, I wish there was an option for basic to have messages even for $5 or $10 for the first month that would be beneficial, but the main issue I see so far is that you have a profile that doesn't update properly. Now, if one or both were fixed I would more than happy to raise my stars but I can't afford to upgarde my profile til next month.

They crippled their own platform. First thing you notice after signing up, the number of emails they spam you with. The next thing, is the messaging system is a marketing trap. sending a message to another user, if you are standard, will cause them to not be able to read the message unless they pay for a membership. Or, if you receive a message from a standard user, you'll have to upgrade to a membership plan. Overall, sending a message just plays into the marketing strategy. Avoid this app. Edited

It really is ridiculous that you can't even message someone without paying. I also find it weird that they ask all this personal information, and yet suspend you for including for example your IG handle in order to have other ways to meet and communicate. It just comes down to money. I will be erasing this app. I was really hoping to meet new friends overseas but this app truly makes it impossible. Don't bother getting it. Edited
