This app is pure garbage, don't waste your money!! Crashes immediately when you try and run it in the background as the was designed to do. Either fix it or refund everyone their money and remove this garbage from the play store developers claim to have fixed the issue yet it still constantly crashes. Edited

J.D., along with making sure all the correct permissions are set, you can go to settings>battery>background usage limits, and toggle off Put unused apps to sleep and tap the 3 dots in the upper right and tap adaptive battery and toggle that off.

App works fine, have it updating my position every two minutes. My spotter beacon most of the time is not showing up on the map for some reason. I have set all of my phones background app usage to the correct values to allow the app to send uninterrupted. Any thaughts?

Works well 95% of the time, a couple times a day it randomly stops without warning. Permissions enabled that should allow the app to run 24/7. Android 14 Edited

Daniel, can you check your app permissions?
Location: Settings>Apps>Spotter Location>Permissions>Location>Allow all the time & Use precise location is toggled on
Notifications: Settings>Apps>Spotter Location>Permissions>Notifications>Allow notifications toggled on
Battery: Settings>Apps>Spotter Location>Battery>Unrestricted needs to be selected

Like this app but I had to buy a new phone due to my old phone stop work and I noticed every time I let this run in the back ground it just keeps crashing non stop and then it say the app is not compatible with the phone contact the devs to fix this.
