I do precision wood boxes as a hobby. I use this app to divide a length into several slots or compartments, and many other fractional calcs. I highly recommend it. Update 2024: 10 years later this app continues to be my best friend for finding center or thirds or quarter lengths. Update 2025: Now, after 11 years, this is still my Go To app for anything involving fractions. Thank you, for the excellent app.

Exit out of the 'paywall' screen with the top left corner "X" - NOT the "Try for free" - and you're left with a barely noticeable ad banner across the top. I can't justify subscribing when I'm only going to use it once in a blue moon. If they offered pay-once-&-done, I'd be all in provided the price was reasonable. That said, app has a super easy UI & does the job flawlessly. I rarely do fraction math, but I like having a tool that produces fast results with minimum effort. Edited

I thought it would be a piece of garbage, but the interface is so easy to use, and it actually gives out a simplified fraction for an answer. The ads were also something I was afraid of. But they aren't annoying pop-up ads like I thought they would be, they are tiny ones that aren't intrusive to your experience. Over all this is an amazing app that I would recommend to anyone who wants to do fraction problems of any sort. Edited

Love this ap!! I dont use fractions as often as a pro carpenter,but when I need to,I dont care to mess around with the process.Lazy,I guess. This app is perfect. Great , easy to read numbers. The format by which it is constructed resembles a fraction,and that aids in keeping the confusion at zero. Just a perfect app,from top to bottom. A must if youre lazy about fractions like I am.

This app is great! I really don't think I need it but had to download it anyway, just to have it. The interface is very attractive, and the ads are unobtrusive. Update: I have been helping one of my kids with her prealgebra class and have actually used this calculator a good bit to check answers on fraction problems. This app is wonderful!! Edited
