C&C: Rivals offers tight, dynamic fights that are typically under 5 minutes of playtime. The way combat it designed gives opportunity for each player to pull ahead as the other player misplaces or moves a unit. I've been shocked in how back and forth combats have gone, there have been a bunch where I started out in the lead, then the opponent counter picks my units and turns things around. The short, exciting RTS combat this game presents is a style that's sorely missed in today's environment.

Really need to fix this "network problems" issue that allows the other player to keep playing but, somehow, always seems to freeze up my game. And there should only be one mammoth allowed. I noticed today that units I had maxed out are now back to level 11. I had to spend credits to bump them back up to their proper levels. 5/1: Now the game crashes and shuts off mid match. Even in bot matches. Edited

i liked the game at first, but then it became the same old thing. Whoever gets and holds the platforms or kills harvesters wins. Also, you don't play people at your level. They're always level 10 with no chance to win. Then came the game crashes that never end. Come on, EA, get it together. As much money as you make, you can do better. Edited

It's a pay to win game. They'll let you have a lot of wins in the beginning, but later you will only get "challenge " matches, which pits you against high level opponents that are 100% impossible to win. Unless you want to spend money of course. Pro tip: delete the game and re-download it when you get to like level 17 or 18 because that's win they won't let you advance without paying. If EA studios wasn't so greedy, I'd pay a one time fee to play the game forever. It's a real shame Edited

This game gets redundant really fast. It's not like the old school c and c red alert games. Its the same ridiculously tiny maps every time, you guard several platforms like capture the flag. You have to hold the platforms for a certain time frame which launches a missle at your enemies base. 2 missile strikes, game over. You can only build 5 units at a time, it takes FOREVER to rank up your units and it constantly pits you against superior opponents who you have no hope against. Zero stars Edited
