The app works very well, not quite as well as Microsoft's Image Composite Editor (ICE) but very well. However, it has one pretty big flaw... It has no options to copy the original image metadata over. At the very least, copying the datetime of the shot, but also other metadata like GPS tags. Considering this is for Panoramas, meaning outdoors, losing the GPS tag is a big flaw. Both Google Photos, and Microsoft's software do that perfectly. And it's actually pretty easy to implement code-wise.

Google Photos panorama feature & Microsoft Image Composite Editors have weaker image recognition capabilities & can't handle fish eye lens distortion etc.
Also as for GPS metadata not being copied, Google changed how that data is accessed, see: https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/243294058?pli=1

Great program. I love it. One problem. It does not give you the ability to manually sort and stitch the pics. The algorithm gets confused with night shots taken in a ranch type setting. I was not able to create my panoramic shot. Had to use another app to manually stitch it together and was successfully done. But I really do love the app. Fantastic

This is an automated panorama stitcher based on image recognition if images don't have clear matches it won't work.

Paid 4 bucks, not bad. First two attempts, stitching in one was terrible, second one was pretty good. Wish there was a way to know how to get better results. Also can't figure out how to download the stitched panoramas - right now I can only view them in the app. EDIT: A developer reached out to me, and I did indeed find my stitched photos in my camera gallery after all - thanks for the tip! They also warned that I should select photos with a lot of overlap for best results, and perhaps adjust the lighting to match first. I want to show you the example of the panorama that went wrong, but apparently I can't post pictures here. Basically, it appears there's TOO MUCH overlap - the tree in the middle is doubled on one side, as if it was vibrating. If I could edit the photos on my computer first, perhaps I could avoid this kind of problem, but I think I can only use this on my phone, with very limited controls. Edited

The app is being actively developed so it will get better with time if you want to share the source photos send them to:
[email protected]
There are complementary apps for editing like Snapseed.

The updates did the trick! Now it does a great job! Those with issues, just set your camera in pro or manual with manual focus, manual white balance, etc. so that all images are consistent with each other. I'm producing incredible pictures that way! If you do automatic and point at green grass then the sky, your can be sure the exposure and everything else will come out very different! Edited

Thanks for the feedback. Good to know it resolved the issue.

[2021] Still using this regularly to turn video pans into panorama pictures. Works well with most scenes. Too much flat sameness (sea shore) will confuse it. Even works with videos from my point and shoot camera. Original review [2019]: Happy with it so far. I was specifically looking for a video to panorama tool. Videos taken from one spot with a pivot motion seem to work well. Videos created by moving the camera like a dolly shot in a movie not as so nicely. I hope to test this out more soon. Edited

Thanks very much for the feedback. Yes that's one weakness, as in, it has to find something to use to align images with. There are improvements on the way though.
