Been using this (alongside My OldBoy) for years and both work fantastically. Both offer really good customization and even allow to patch IPS or UPS files for ROM hacks. Unfortunately save states and link communication require the paid version but I haven't had a need for those myself (although, you can run and link multiple instances of any games on one device). Never have much problems with it processing games. Never froze on me. If it did it wasn't a problem with the quick save features that are available. Especially since you can customize the controls on the screen and add or take away "buttons" per say. Anyways love it!! I wish it was free but I have always bought it somehow. I think it just on the fact of the buying it so i feel like I own a diamond with the detail and the functionality of this emulator. It's the best gba emulator ever programmed!

Great emulator, the settings are nice and varied, controls are responsive. Only gripe I have is it won't let you load savestates unless you load an ad too. I know why, gotta get that revenue and all but my signal gets spotty out in the boonies so having 'error loading ad. Try again later' pop up when I'm trying to load up my quicksave is annoying. Generally a good app. I had no issues that the free version only allows one save slot per game without paying... but now I see I can't load my one save slot. An error pops up saying that "loading from multiple save slots is not allowed in the free version." Except I'm only trying to load one save slot. This emulator is pretty useless without the ability to save.

It works, most of the time, but as I've tried to use the load function more and more for soft resets it's clear there is an intentional error inserted in the coding that prevents you from loading the game for a period of time. The error message indicates it is unable to load the required ad and that you either need to buy the full version or wait. Which is completely ridiculous that an app that advertises to be free with the ability to load will prevent itself from doing so.
