Great tool to take pictures of a position and load it into an engine. Sometimes it asks which way the pawns are moving and I've never had the answer be anything other than forward. Sometimes it rotates the picture 180 degrees and sometimes it doesn't. I wish it would just load the image as the picture was taken. The engine analysis would be better if stayed on and I didn't have to press the evaluate button after every move. After awhile the app just stops working and I need to reinstall.

This application is amazing. Hands down one of the best chess apps available. You can tell the author cares about producing a great product. One request I have, which is really minor, is it would be nice if when in horizontal mode, (i.e. when playing on a tablet for example), if the chess board would enlarge itself to fill the available height and width. Unfortunately, now it's a little square in the upper left corner.

Have been looking for a reliable chess scanner that could handle both books and, especially, screen shots for online sources. Works great, with only an occasional (very infrequent) scanning error that is easily corrected in the program itself. Being able to export to my preferred chess program is also exceptionally easy. Just what I've been looking for. Edited

I liked the speed of cloud Stockfish analysis, and saw that it was possible to share game with other apps and also save them. So I subscribed. However, in fact it doesn't save games with Stockfish results nor share game with results...only original positions. Support is marginal to non-existent, there are no FAQs or documentation and they won't refund subscription. No point in having cloud analysis speed if results cannot be saved as game nor shared with another app that will do so. If and when they get the details right, it might be worth the subscription cost.

Works great, I love having a quick way to setup a board while reading a chess book with just a scan. Then I can play along, get analysis, or even start from the current position against the computer. Outputting a game to a video file is simply brilliant. Adding the move list to the side of the board in the video would be a pretty cool addition. Make a pro version so you can take my money.
