I have been using Finch for over a year, and I would give 4 stars until recently. Dropped to 3 because of a few recent changes that make it feel more anxiety-inducing than soothing. One is the countdown timers counting milliseconds. It's distracting. Seconds are fine. Another is random labels manically vibrating for no reason. (Like "On Now" above "View Event") Only other suggestions would be more variety & color choices in daily shop items, and to make it easier to add new online friends. Edited

Couldn't be better. I've used it for 2 weeks now and have been more productive than I've been in months. Interacting with your bird is fun and gives you an incentive to keep opening the app. The free version has limitations, but is still extremely helpful and doesn't pressure you into paying. If you have bad days, you're not pressured into completing tasks, but you can vent your frustrations for a reward instead. So well thought out and helpful for mental health! Edited

I would rate this higher as I love the app, but since the recent update (6/26/25) the app keeps forcing closed and I cannot complete anything. I have gone through all the steps to fix it and it just keeps forcing closed. Every time I open it, it freezes and then forced close. It was not like this before the recent update. If I could fix this, I would rate it higher. Edited

I've almost been with Finch a year, and it's been a huge help with habit building, and also connecting with friends. the only downside, and why I'm writing this in the hopes it gets fixed, is the constant request to back up data to the cloud. It's happened 4 times today alone. Please stop the hard push and create an opt-out.

As someone cycling through ADHD meds, this app is a constant that helps me organize & remind me of chores & schoolwork. As a student, you can add stuff to remind you to study, etc. The rewards for inviting friends & the shop helps you stay motivated. Adding friends can also boost morale. I put 3 stars because I still think there are places for fine tuning to improve along w/ tech issues that can B frustrating. Ex: unable to claim rewards from previous event. can be a bit frustrating but worth it Edited
