adding on, still 1 star. doesn't work. got maybe 2 or 3 scans out of it. added to a new vehicle, doesn't find the sensor, tried both Bluetooth settings, 3 or 4 times. waste of money also, didn't realize I was about to be charged for the annual fee until after it was done. would have been nice to get a reminder before being charged for P.O.S program. Update, still piss poor customer service. only care about getting their money. Forgot my renewal date, no notice about being charged. won't refund Edited

Fixd works great when everything is working as it should to pinpoint causes of check engine light, but dealing with support is like talking to a bot where the conversation just keeps going in circles. My sensor stopped working a few months ago and I've been back and forth with support to try and get a replacement, but they have since stopped responding to me, so I feel like I'm being scammed into buying a new sensor just to use my subscription. I tried all the troubleshooting they advised too.

WAY overhyped! I know my alternator is bad and not charging my battery, and also have trouble with my CVT. This scanner said everything was fine. I know it's not. It looks like most recommendations are simply based on odometer readings and schedules rather than data-driven. It is a nice little DTC/app combo that provides some convenience as an all-in-one calendar + reader, but otherwise, it provided far less info than my $19 code reader that does not charge $99/year.

The primary purpose of this app is to sell you a premium subscription. There is very little value provided by this app without that premium subscription. My hope was to understand more about the codes modern cars can generate, but you're not going to get far on your own with just the device and the free app. Too bad, as it could have been so much more.

I’ve had this device for over a year, and it has never triggered a single alert. My dashboard has shown maintenance reminders like tire rotation, oil changes, and a couple of other warnings — but when I ran a scan, RIXD didn’t detect anything. I contacted support, and they said the device only picks up major warnings, not routine maintenance alerts. I can’t speak for other car brands, but I can say for sure it doesn’t work well with Mazdas.
