I accidently deleted the free version of Moon Reader, then I noticed the pro version is on Play Pass. So far I have only had one issue: The pro version would not restore my backup, so I lost my book progress syncs, edits, bookmarks, etc. To solve that: I downloaded the free version again, backed up my library again in a new location, then opened the pro version and tried to restore again. It worked that time.

The app performs its core functions well, but the settings menu UX is convoluted and would benefit from a major overhaul. The settings are scattered everywhere. Some seem to only be available through search(?). A centralized settings menu from which all settings in the app could be accessed would make a huge difference in usability.

This is an excellent reading app. I would like to make a suggestion, but i have no idea how difficult it would be to implement. I have always wanted to be anlento annotate more organically with a stylus. Basically, I'd like to draw over the text to underline, highlight, or even write in the margins. I saw this is a feature of the Kobo Libre color, but I'm not ready to buy a new device for reading yet. It would be cool if Moon+ Reader could do this.

Hi, our reader supports these functions for PDF documents, but it doesn't support for other types of ebooks. thanks!

I've always updated this program. But now the font size is set at 10 and the letters are 1/2 inch tall. I've changed fonts to no avail rendering this reader mostly useless. I can use it in text to speech only but audio is NOT always wanted. I can load files into other readers and the text size is fine. Perhaps I can sideload an older version, hopefully avoiding a virus. This was my only reader necessary for years and years. Not now.

Very close to perfect. My favorite reader app for sure, especially for PDFs. One issue: I sync my files between various devices (via syncthing) rather than backing up to the cloud, and although the books themselves work fine the reading position is not transferred. It's a shame those of us who avoid major cloud providers are stuck. I could build a WebDAV server...but how about at least support for ssh/SFTP instead of ftp? Or just allow folder sync to work? Otherwise it's great!
