I've upgraded my rating for FCN from 3 to 4 stars. It is still my 3rd choice for JAX area news, but I watch it at least once a day. It has toned down its alarmist reporting. Not everything is a crisis. For weather reporting, it's a close #2 choice, especially during hurricane season. Chief meteorologist Tim Deegan is retiring in May 2025. I hope his replacement will be as good. Edited

The previous weather app was a 10, great app. Without notice you stopped it. I excepted the new app, assuming it would be similar to the original. New app force's all the chaos news in my face, while the weather side of the app (my preferred side) is nearly a lost effort. The overall app in my opinion, is a 2. If its possible to create two different apps, one for people who want the weather and one for the chaos. Im thinking they would be more desirable.

It does a strange glitch when scrolling and will scroll back up. Not a fan of how it takes you back to the top of the main home page when you press back after reading an article instead of to the place you were previously. Its just really busy and requires a lot of scrolling instead of just clicking on the segments that interest reader most. For example, previous app version would separate by national news, local, and crime. Now Im sort of forced to read through everything.

The app is generally good, with an easy to navigate interface. My only problem is that the app does not seem to understand how to keep certain notifications turned off. With the nature of my job I need to have weather and traffic alerts, but on top of those I keep getting alerts for things such as crime or local news alerts. This needs to be addressed.

Had to delete this app. The same issue I had with the old version continued to the new one. I keep getting notifications for stuff I don't care about or ask for. This time around I only set it up to receive severe weather alerts because it's hurricane season and I don't have local channels right now. For the last 2 hours I get repeated Jags game updates that I DO NOT CARE ABOUT. Then random other notifications started creeping in. I'm done until this is fixed.
