Great game but is DEFINITELY a pay to win game...and a quite expensive one at that! At first, it starts out great and a purchase helps you for a good amount of time, but as you progress, when ya buy the $26.99 package, you blow through it in just a couple hours! And the game gets to where ya cant even afford to fight because even if you win, it still costs more money to heal your fighters than what you could possibly win in each fight!

I'm only giving them a 1 because of what the most recent update did. It somehow linked itself to an old save point. The game progress looks like how my city and the levels of my gladiators were a month ago. I'm pretty frustrated because that's a month of my time gone. I don't even feel like playing it anymore. Update: Never mind. I just found where they sent me the newest save data to restore. So I'm changing my stars to 4; mainly because it's a different kind of grinding game. Edited

Nice game, easy to play at your own pace. Significantly improved over the past few months. My issue is with gladiator purchases and randomness of skills. Most skills are useless to begin with. There are some staple skills that are vital and the rest just take up space. Most of the time during a level up or a purchase of a new gladiator, you get a skill that is useless and your gladiator becomes less viable in PVP and you cannot optimize. I get the idea but if you don't want everyone to have the same gladiator skill set, then the other skills need to be looked at. It is a bit frustrating when you invest time into them and you get a bunch of skills that are worthless. Then you a say, well let's buy a new gladiator and try again, unfortunatelly it is not uncommon to get a gladiator you don't even want. You want to get a spear gladiator but get multiple assassins in a row with those fantastic skills you will never use for 500 gems each.

Its a fun game, i like the aspects of training and rank, along with the multiple avenues of combat between PVP, the campaign and fighting the champions. That said, the game is slow in loading and has one really annoying bug that I've experienced multiple times. I'd rotate through opening different gladiators, and sell the cheaper one star ones. Twice now though when I've selected a one star to sell, it's sold one of my two stars that i definitely didn't have selected. Hope it gets fixed.

Initially a great game. However, long term is becomes very tedious. I like the game, but I would hope the developers make changes to those who have playes it for some time. All hero skills are randomized, making it very hard to get the preferred skillset. You only know the full skillset by spending hours and hours grinding to level up the hero. In the case you get undesired skills, which is almost always the case, you delete the hero. There is no return on your investment of time. Minimal upd. Edited
