I give up. The designers meant well and I believe the user interface I well designed. But the technical problems make this app unusable. NFC reader works fine the first time to change the transport PIN to the 6 digit personal PIN but already the next attempt to see what data is stored on the card reliably fails. I spent 20 minutes turning and flipping the card (no case). 9/10 times, I get no reaction. If I'm lucky, I get stuck in the "weak signal loop". Sorry devs, but this ain't working.

The self test works. I haven't managed to get this app to work for anything else. 4 out of 5 times the "authenticate with eID" button doesn't do anything and I have to restart the app and the browser to get things working again. When the app actually reacts, it either fails with a technical yet uselessly generic server error, or it seemingly succeeds, but the web page says "Incorrect username or password supplied, please try again". This thing is a mess. Edited

By identifying it does not allow to go back to Agentur website and creates an error log. I have already a Bund ID account.

Using the app on android as well as on Linux in combination with an android device. Works flawlessly in both cases, setup was simple. [update 15 June 2025:] I had a hard time finding the Linux version of the app for download. In fact, it wasn't even mentioned on your website. It should be proudly advertised! Please make it more visible! Edited

I have spent many hours trying to connect my card to the app. I have also received various suggestions from the help forum but no success. What would be helpful if users with a Samsung S24 ultra who managed to connect would perhaps show the area on their phone where they placed the card. BTW, I have already tried a handstand position😏
