I was excited to get back into jetpack joyride. Then I was disappointed - all of these ads, interruptions, and so on...I was wishing I could just play the classic. Then there it was!! Classic JJ! I was ready to get back to it. Grind my way through and unlock everything. Then yall really had to break my heart...a subscription..to a mobile game of all things. There really is no classic mobile games anymore. This is just how it is now.

The page for this game says it has in-app purchases, but what it doesn't tell you is it requires a PAID subscription to play. It's also significantly more buggy and glitchy than the regular Jetpack Joyride. Zappers were popping up out of nowhere, the screen that shows challenges and stuff after you die wasn't working so all I could do was restart the run. Pathetic.

This game used to be free with in-app purchases. I felt nostalgic and wanted to play and was disgusted by the constant ads and subscription. If the game was free before, it could have stayed free. Or even just ads. Not the limited play time to push subscriptions. If you want to add subscriptions, do it for the new games you develop after you come up with the idea of ad riddled subscriptions. I pay for games I like, but I prefer to pay a one time charge instead of pay for the rest of my life.

I grew up loving this game and downloaded the game, but really disliked how the modernized it. So, I decided to get the classic version in the hopes of playing the game I knew again; I did not get to. Instead, I was prompted with a subscription instead. I'd much rather pay the 3 dollars to buy the game on an older version on the PS3 than ever pay money for a subscription to play a once free-to-play game. You're one of the biggest mobile companies. You don't need more money.

JJ is great, and Classic was a wonderful time until a one-time purchase of $100 or a subscription was introduced in order to play any game by the brand. I understand that servers have to stay up, but I don't really care about any of their other games. If this game was given a price, like $5 or maybe even $10, it would keep it ad free and keep the servers running. Hopefully, this gets remedied. Edited
