Pretty good game; great customization and multiple viable strategies. However, it seems extremely prone to freezing, where some action just doesn't happen properly and the game locks up - sometimes saving a design locks the game up (the design does save), and sometimes ending a battle freezes the game (wins are then discarded; I don't know if losses are discarded)

Amazing game in the early stages, extremely difficult to win once hitting 2000 rating. Ranked tends to match you with a counter-build. Missile build? Enemy ship is full of point defense. Lasers? Enemy is full armor+repairs. Not only that, but the upgrade system is too expensive for very little gain. 500k credits for +0.1% reflect? And you must win for credits, so the constant defeats keep you stuck. Overall, the paywall is a crushing weight. Played off and on for 3 years, would not recommend.

We're sorry you had a negative experience with the Space Arena, Commander ChickenMcnugget. The matchmaking system doesn't put you against opponents with counter builds on purpose. Also, we improved the upgrade and limit-breaking systems in the latest 3.20.1 so Commanders could max their modules quicker. We'll continue improving it. Stay tuned.

I was slightly enjoying until the ads blocked my path. By that I mean, they were no longer optional. I didn't mind watching ads to gain 10-50 credits whatever they named it, but when I tried to battle and couldn't anymore without watching an ad (which by the way, never loaded any of the 8 times), I decided to stop playing. Before that, battles suck, because ships act like wabbly tops. They can't battle properly, they bounce back and forth when rotating causing lots of extra damage. It's.. Meh..

So i had this rated as a 5 star game previously. I'm always looking for a good phone game and the gameplay loop on this one really hooked me. I watched a ton of ads every day to get bonuses, but i really like how all of that was optional. Now suddenly at around level 26, i have to watch an ad EVERY SINGLE MATCH. These usually only last for about 45 seconds, and the ads are about the same amount of time if you include the ad loading screen. Really ruined the game for me. Dropping the game. Edited

The game overall is a decent fun quick paced "free to play, pay to win" arena fighter. However the prices for the pay to win ships quickly become absurd. There was a sale for "black market" components that was advertised for over $200. As a full page advert I was shocked. I doubt I'll play anymore. I don't even want to accidentally get anywhere near spending that kind of money on a single digital purchase. Edited
