Great game with funny dialogue and many references to the show. My only complaints are sometimes the dialogue can overlap, cut off, or glitch out. The game also becomes very laggy at higher resolutions (I picked High for optimal performance). I have a Google Pixel 6A (might be the reason). The game also stutters randomly (especially when loading in new areas while playing, which caused me to die a few times. Overall, it's a fantastic game despite the performance and audio issues.

This feels like a spiritual successor to Battle for Bikini Bottom. You're limited strictly to SpongeBob as a playable character, but he's got a bunch of new abilities. So the combat stays feeling fresh enough throughout. The graphics look great and the whole game has a cinematic feel. Controller support is also flawless and worked without any configuration. The developers clearly put a lot of work into making this game feel like a true sequel to an OG classic. I think they succeeded. Edited

Fun gameplay but man sometimes spongebob just does NOT want to move especially on the movie sections. Like I don't know if it's the joystick or the programming, but he will just stick in place and not move or he will slide all over the place. It would be great if you added a skip segment option for parts like that. Because I'm stuck on the karate part for the better part of 2 days now.

Great Game but some graphic issues.... I am using a Retroid Pocket 3 plus and I will get lots of lag and a static screen flicker every now and then. Which is strange because Battle for Bikini Bottom works perfectly fine with no issues and the game says my device works with the game but it is not really working well I've tried all visual settings I could possibly do but with no luck.

Really good port of the game! Had to lower the quality a bit, but it ran decently well after that. The option to have a custom touch control layout would be nice, but the presets work well enough. There are parts, some cutscenes, where the audio is out of sync or end weirdly. But those seem to also be present in the console version too. Edited
