In my opinion the weakest game of the franchise, mostly because of the poor balancing between units. I feel like most units do not deal enough damage. The terrain is also very frustrating to play on (narrow passages, cliffs where troops cannot fire). The extra difficulty is welcome, but made me enjoy this game less than the others. Unlike in the other games, the damage is fixed, which is a nice addition. The sea battles make it unique. Edited

Warning! This game involves a greedy pay-to-win business model. So why am I giving 5 stars? Because playing without microtransactions is extremely hard in many missions, but still possible and I like the challenge. So far I have completed 16 missions for the Americans and 1 mission for the Japanese without paying a single dollar for in-game currency (gold) The key is to use the gold you save in easier missions or get as a reward for promotion wisely just as it's important to use all the resources you get or find in missions wisely. The game is more fiction than an attempt at historical accuracy, there is no artificial intelligence, and the enemies' behaviour is driven by primitive scripts, but that doesn't make the game any less interesting or less fun. If you're playing without microtransactions, it's sometimes necessary to try some missions multiple times to see what approach has a chance of success, and it's important to avoid spending the gold you've saved until your operation is heading in the right direction. Spending some of the gold you have saved on one extra tank or refilling the supply truck at the right time can sometimes mean the difference between defeat and victory. Edited

I love this game it is the best of the series with burning bridges a close second. I really wish they could do similar games for other wars like vietnam or even more recent wars but as far as a strategy game these handy games are m personal favorite. Getting the rank of general takes enough gameplay that it seems unbeatable. Would also like some more unlockable weapons and missions but hard to improve on whats there already. America is the greatest country on earth and the only one that matters

I love it. Only problem I'm having is that sometimes there's a bug where the game locks up and you can't move, attack, refill or anything so you have to esc out and restart the game.

After Townsmen and Battle Chasers Wars, I'm tight on my $. I refuse to buy anything they got which is about 25 more titles unless on sale for .49-99c. Mainly because Townsmen put me to sleep of boredom and Battle Chasers War had a huge lag even with my strongest gaming android. I continued buying his other 25 games only 2suppprt dev when on sale, but hoping he will come back to Townsmen Premium, Battle Chasers, this game and 3-4 others 50k+ users. First 20 min in2 this game I was beat badly. Edited
