It lacks a lot of features. You can only put a bio and your age. Nothing like your height or religion. There is no way to see if someone has read your message even with platinum. The AI algorithm is alright but not always accurate. You can't filter out people for preference which is very pointless. It's like blind dating.

Love the concept. It doesn't follow my distance preferences at all. I have it set to 30 miles and it shows me mostly people across the country, especially in the 'your type' tab they're always super far away. And in the past week the normal feed has only showed 1 new person, even if I change the distance to 50 miles.

Out of 57,600+ (as of this review's writing) faces seen on Iris, I've not had one match based on mutual attraction. I've paid numerous times for premium, with the promise of a guaranteed match, but it always fails. The AI is awful but maybe in a few years it might finally work. The interface is nicer than Tinder but otherwise it's pretty much the same.

I had to change my rating. It's an interesting concept, but it lost a star because of some issues I see. 1. this relies heavily on facial features. Women focus on facial features more than men. Not to say we don't like an attractive face, but body type is important to men. 2. I only see people in other countries, and on the other side of my own country a 1000 miles away, I really wish this app would only show locals. Edited

The AI is absolutely useless... It's just like every other run of the mill dating app. You have to pay for almost every feature. You have to pay if you want to filter your search by distance/location. 85% of my "matches" are over 200 miles away. The choices for things I'm into, like hobbies etc., is SUPER limited and absolutely random weird stuff. Edited
