I really like this app. It has all the features I need: add comments, as e variations, highlight squares and draw arrows to illustrate methods. Packed with really useful features. I would really like to see the move symbols popup over the pieces on the board and a blacked out theme for OLED devices. **** Gerhard, I also think putting a way to set the comments in annotation to any color would be helpful! **** Edited

Thank you for the review and the suggestion regarding the move symbols. There is a dark mode theme available, which you can enable in the settings.

Not enough lines of analysis Lines of analysis means the engine only calculates and shows the best move and a single line. But there could be 4 good potential moves but the 3 aren't shown. Just because a move is second or 3rd best doesn't mean it's a bad move or losing against best play. Say it's a middle game They can have different valuations like +1.25 for e4 and +0.75 for b4 or +0.34 for c4. I may prefer the option of b4 because of my style, or it's more creative. It gives more options. Edited

Needs different kinds of notation input, not just modern algebraic. Dark mode makes app font white on almost white background in menus. Needs a main page to display all pgn files from specified location, not just manual load pgn. It is easy to lose data input (create a temp file to restore if errors occur) App is awesome. Well done. Really great app which does everything you could need to record/analyse chess games. The one critique I have is deleting variations can be slightly clunky and I've lost a bunch of annotations a couple of times when trying to delete certain variations/moves. Could a save button be added to the main page so we don't have to keep going into the menu and saving (which acts more like a save as function)? Edit 8/23: It would also be great if there were an option to strip out arrows/highlights. Edited

It's a very good app, I am facing one problem now, till date the app used to show variations list allowing me to choose which variation I want to enter, today it is not showing the variation list and directly moving to the mainline, I have made the variations threshold as 8 but still it is not showing variations list, is there another setting or anything else so that I can get the variations list again. If there is a setting please tell me where it is present. Edited

Please select 1 as the threshold. Then the feature works as before.
