It actually works. I have installed and uninstalled many auto Bluetooth apps. The closest to working was one that worked a couple times, and then you had to restart it. This app WORKS. And its response time is perfect. The only issue I have is that it does not autostart after a reboot, even if it was active when the phone shut down. Yes, I have checked the appropriate option. Any ideas? I am on Android 9. One more thing. The widget works until the phone display goes out. Then, if you tap on the widget, nothing happens. It gets stuck. I mailed you my settings. Any luck finding what is wrong with the autostart and the widget? Your update overnight fixed both my issues. The service autostarts in less than a minute of phone reboot, and the widget appears to be working as expected. Even though I really didn't need it, I bought the paid version, just to say thank you for being on top of things and taking care of issues immediately. Thank you. Edited

I'd happily pay the $3.99 if I knew it solved my problem. My my problem is that when one Bluetooth connection is lost, for it to reconnect to the Bluetooth connection that I choose to be the backup connection. But the app only lets you connect to one device?

There's no "backup" device setting, but if another paired device is nearby, it should auto connect. The pro version let's you create profiles for as many devices as you like. If you have more questions, tap help in the menu.

Seemed to work but didn't. I got this app because I want my phone's bluetooth to turn off when I shut off my bluetooth headphones so there's no RF in or out of my phone at night when it's beside my head. The only setting I found that seemed to be what I wanted was "when power disconnected" and selected "turn off bluetooth". When I shut off my headphones a notice came up saying that bluetooth was turning off but my phone still displayed that bluetooth was on, so the app had no effect. Advice?

Idea of the app is great and it works. BUT while I run it in foreground on my Huawei P9, my phone is very slow in response and lags frequently. After I disabled this option, the phone works just fine. Any help? Edited

That's strange, the service isn't doing anything until a trigger is broadcast by the system. Can you tap help in the menu to send me your settings?

I like the app but it doesn't allow you to automatically start a profile after a phone reboot. This should be the first feature the developer includes.

The service can be started on boot. If you mean something else, please tap help in the menu to email me. I'd love to chat about it.
