The game is ok. It's like a slimmed down version of epic 7. They rely heavily on the element system for battles, too much imo. A high level fire character can get smoked by a low level water for example. Exp materials are extremely hard to get. Slow grind for character building and not alot to do at this point. Edited

I wish I could give this 4 stars, I love the character designs and story, but the buttons are so infuriating and you have to push the start button at least five times to even be able to play a level in the main story and arena, and occasionally in the tower as well. Also, some characters who are very clearly designed to be specific elements are classified under the wrong ones, and objectives that require certain elements don't register when you actually use them. PLEASE fix these issues!!!

First off, the tutorial is pretty demanding when you want to hurry in and get going, some of it could potentially be done after you do the select summon. Maybe separate it to trigger when you next click on the story? Secondly, some of the quest requirements to get 3 stars are wrong. The quest in chapter 2 that loans you a story earth hero didn't give me the 3rd star until I had a water hero used, not earth. Overall I really enjoy the gameplay and art style so far.

It's a nice little timesink, and the art style is unique and appealing, but the gameplay isn't deep enough to be compelling to me, personally. The "sort cards for power" idea is mildly interesting, but there aren't enough mechanics to integrate it into the actual battle system in a fun way. I would like more strategy; maybe some cards, when played, reshuffle your hand, or draw more cards, or transform other cards? Also, it's pretty aggressively monetized; par for the course, but still.

Just echoing what a lot of other people are saying: this feels like a beta release. Also, the gameplay isn't friendly for playing longer periods - you can't even complete one chapter the first day. Would be nice to be able to AFK the tower to auto progress, and be able to move around characters in the lineup by dragging.
