It's only so useful because, when you make your own lists, sometimes it pronounces the word wrong. One example word is, "pays" ("pay-ee"), which the app pronounces "pee". Edit: I found the word override option. Definitely a keeper app. Paid the lifetime option. Edited

Great practice. We pair it with the company's printing app to learn the words and then quiz them on this one. The only downside is importing/exporting lists between the two is a pain (and you can only do it with lists you create not the provided ones).

This app is from the makers of writing wizard cursive and script, both phenomenal apps to teach and practice alphabet & words tracing with toddler. Those apps were my gold standard for judging effectiveness of the other learning apps I downloaded. This one follows in their footsteps with a great concept and ability to add words. Love the word practice board with the evolutive reading as child adds new letters. Would like more pronounced hoorays when child completes a word correctly.

It looks great and I think the purchase price is fine, but it doesn't look like it's eligible for family sharing which is just bizarre for an educational app... This is the only thing that is making me hesitant about purchasing.

great app to be able to create word list, and phonics list. I wish there was inbuilt phonics list with sounds grouped. but I would still recommend this app to any child that's learning French
