Great app. But the only problem I see, is that the downloaded books are saved in the cache folder within the app, so if I use the cleaning app of my phone, it deletes important files Verbum needs in order to work, so it renders it useless until you reinstall it. (If you add an option where to save your downloaded books) 5 stars if you fix this! Edited

I use Verbum daily. Make sure you've purchased one of the Verbum Libraries - Bibles you'll use, a good commentary or seven, and Church docs. The "notes" feature in mobile now more closely resembles the desktop version - which is a huge win. Being able to share notes with others is one of my favorite abilities. Update: the mobile version continues to converge with the desktop, allowing for easier searching and reference.

Updated 1 star for crash fix. Thank you. Notes still buggy. Change Highlight Style throws an "Error" which then makes it impossible to use Change Highlight or Additional Styles as menu won't even pop up. You can (usually) change to a style already in most recent line up. Sometimes resolves on its own; usually not. Sometimes you can force a fix by changing to a most recent style, deleting that style again and hoping finally the Additional Styles will pop up. Edited

UPDATE: This has been fixed. Please update your app to 23.0.3.3013 for the fix. 2nd UPDATE: Thank you for reaching out about the Change Highlight Style error. We have created a case to investigate this issue. 3rd UPDATE: The highlight style kebab menu being unresponsive has been fixed in the latest update: 1240000053.

It takes some time to learn how to navigate the resources, but it is expansive and provides many resources, like Catholic commemtary on scripture and other Bible translations as well as word meanings in the Greek or Latin, to help you understand the intended meaning of the passages. Rather than the often clouded meanings which happen due to language translation barriers or our common use of words which have changed throughout cultural shifts.

Love the app! However I've been having difficulties with Verbum app on my Android phone! Especially when I open a reference and takes up the whole page it won't allow me to go back not even on my back button on my phone! I have to set it up on landscape mode.. The app keeps crashing too!.. However I still do love the app!
