Revising down to one star. Ap has not improved,and now every game is followed by an ad that blocks out the navigation bar. AI needs work. On Very Hard, the bot makes simple mistakes and will often pass near end of game even with a playable 8-10 point tile in hand. This is something that a player of reasonable skill wouldn't do. On expert, the play is slightly more challenging but not due to AI skill. On expert, the software simply deals the bot 3 bingos a game or more, a statistical impossibly. Edited

Couldn't even enjoy a single game. Every time I click the ad away on the top of the screen it's not two seconds later till a new ad pops up. When I tried to just ignore the ads they started flashing bright colors taking my focus away from my turn. Can we get one Effin scrabble like game without ads, or them constantly reappearing every two seconds. I'm not asking for that much.

Outstanding. As a freelance writer and copywriter, ghostwriter I appreciate this app because it keeps my brain power tested and strong. It also improves my vocabulary and is competitive and fun. five stars for the game! -3 stars for the ads stop wasting our time. too many long running ads now. no way to close them until they finish. Very annoying. if an ad pops up, people know within 5 seconds or sooner whether they are interested or not. running an ad for 1 minute is ludacris. I've enjoyed using the free app for years. now I question whether or not I can use it anymore.

Love this game & play almost every day. However, I'm changing from a 5 star rating to a 4 star because I don't know if this is a recent added feature, but there is this owl that now appears after I play that tells me I had these letters & could have played this or that. What was played was played & you can't change it so this feature is very annoying! I don't care what could have been played. Remove this feature or allow me to turn it off. 4/23/25. Owl is back, very annoying!!! Edited

Hello, the teacher (owl) is supposed to be disabled in the free version of Classic Words. But you can turn it off in the game's preferences.
