This is absolutely amazing in every way (music, challenge, learning curve, upgrade system, etc) but one: it's very hard to get any meaningful amounts of AP after chapter 2, even when you watch every ad presented. And I'm only focusing on upgrading one ship. I really liked how much you got in the original BHM when playing the endless modes, but even after beating the first boss in endless 1, I only got 3 AP for my efforts. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

I've loved this series from the beginning. An incredible addition to the bullet hell genre with amazingly fluid animations, fantastic and unique art style that adds to its chaotic and virtual atmosphere, fitting music, and a good upgrade system. And I adore how reactionary the larger enemies are; changing their behavior depending on how you decide to combat them. It gets very fast-paced but also eases you into it really well. Highly recommended for any skilled or new bullet hell players. Amazing

Very very basic once you've tried the other schmup games. Kept waiting for it to open up and feel like a complete game instead of a programming classes first trial project. I'll give it an extra star cause the colors...are okay..i guess? No clue what these other people are gushing over, or this is the only type of space shooter game they've ever played and have no room to compare. Edited

BHM:F is an excellent gateway game to the bullet hell genre. Between using an upgrading system to help troubled players pass the curve, the excellent music with a strong litmotif, the excellent stage design focused on improvong certain skills, to the helpful nudges they give, there is so much this game has done right. I'd love to write a whole essay on this game if it weren't for the 500 character limit, but just know this game deserves every bit of praise I can give it. Edited

This is such a good bullet-hell game, maybe the best in the app store. There aren't any ads, except for when you want a bigger reward. All of my control problems were solved in the settings, where there are several things you can change to increase performance or graphics, as well as how to use Specials too. I would recommend this to anyone! The only thing about this is that it gets very difficult in the deeper levels of the game, so be ready for when you get there. Either way, awesome game. Edited
