I've been using this app since 2019 and had no complaints. Even the ad pass update was good imo. However, my issue is with the new layout. I understand it's supposed to look modern and fresh, but it's not pleasing to look at. There's so much blank space and videos? If I wanted to see vids I would've clicked the vid button. At the very least, fix the "newest/oldest" button. If I click "newest," it resets when I leave the page. Please add a setting so we can leave it at one option for ALL comics!! Edited

A strong issue is that the app has a very frustrating tendency to flash ads for whatever comic it thinks should be read, even if it's strongly not to your taste. These ads also take you to the comic, with only a tiny 'X' to close it. Even with a stylus, it feels extremely imprecise to close, so you tend to get stories added to your list without wanting them at all, and should be fixable by just adding in a "take me there!" button. This makes it feel like a disingenuous way to drive up numbers.

these UI changes are absolutely horrendous. UI should be intuitive, should be easy to use, and is a eyesore to look at. The home Page's "top picks for you" mostly just shows me things I'm already subscribed to. I have to scroll down to find new releases which is easy to miss. The newest update changed the series pages is my least favorite. Auto sorts with the oldest episodes up too, hard to see what I have read at a glance and there is no longer a way to hide fast pass episodes.

2* AND DROPPING over time. I'd give it 4.5 stars until the last few months. chapters have increased in price, ads on stories at the beginning of chapters even for recurring subs, and an ever increasing difficulty to find new content on their UI. It used to be SO EASY. Now, I often miss new releases for weeks or months because they aren't placed appropriately, placed in a timely manner, or they dont show on the "new arrivals" section AT ALL. this is still my favorite comics app, but it just got a design overhaul and the layout is the WORST NOW. It's counterintuitive and it's supposed to have been redesigned to help you discover new comics, but they've just made it harder to read ANY of their comics at all. it's a good selection, though draconic about body imaging, but this is going to make me try to see where else I can read the titles I like.
